About Event

The Department of Chemical Engineering TKM College of Engineering ,Kollam will be conducting a National Level Technical Symposium, RAASA’16 on 02,03,and 04 September 2016.
Raasa’16 is being organized by the Department of Chemical Engineering, in association with the Chemical Engineering Association and Indian Institute Of Chemical Engineers (IIChE) Student Chapter Trivandrum.
The symposium intends to bring together insightful, inventive and versatile minds of today, who are passionate about Chemical Engineering. It will create a pitch for testing the technical skills of the participants through various challenges like Propulsia , Formula H, and offers an arena to test their soft skills with events like Debate and Market Job.
The symposium also endeavours to assess the creativity and ability of passionate and industrious scientists of the future, to generate ideas and revolutionize technology with events like Paper Presentation, Industry-Institute Interaction etc.

College is ideally located at Karicode,7kms away from Kollam (Chinnakada)via NH 774 (earlier 208).Nearest airport is Thiruvananthapuram International airport.Kollam is well connected to major cities of the state via regular trains.Buses are easily available from kollam bus stand heading towards Kottarakkara enroute.
